The health and wellbeing of our clients and of course that of our hardworking employees, the Garra Rufas, has highest priority. HYGIENE, therefore is outmost important to us.

Where most of the fish spas only use UV-Filter for water purification, we exceed federal guidlines by using ozoniser and only water with pure drinking quality. Through the combination of the various filters we eliminate 100% of all germs, bacteria and viruses, without affecting the health of the fish and of course the health of the customers. With this method we go far beyond the general recommendations of the health authorities. Our high-efficiency filters clean 1500 liters per hour for single tanks and 2500 liters for double tanks. Recreation periods after each customer guarantee a complete filtering of the water before any new treatment.

When it comes to hygiene, we make no compromises, we take it a step further:

• filtering water through high-efficiency filters and a combination of ozoniser, biological, mechanical and UV-filtering
• training and education of partners around all subjects of hygiene, starting with the detection of skin diseases to filtering media to general directives, such as disinfection of equipment, sanitizing surfaces, employees awareness ...
• pre-treatment by disinfectant foot baths and dermatologically tested disinfectants

In general excluded are customers with the following conditions:

• skin diseases, such as Psoriasis, Neurodermatitis, Eczema or Fungal
• HIV
• Hepatitis B & C
• Diabetes
• injuries
• people with hair removal by waxing or shaving with less than 24 hours
